Oceania Indigenous Cup 2014

Tag football is the in thing these days and today was an opportunity for Kotuku class to go to Trusts stadium in Henderson to support our Kiwi can coordinator Matua Joseph. He was playing for Samoan pride at the tournament. Our boys were cheering matua on and did a haka for him before leaving. Please excuse the audio in the video as it cuts out in the beginning and comes back in later. Nga mihi nui!

The Recorders Club

We in Kotuku class are very fortunate to have Matua Allen spend his time and energy teaching us how to use the recorders. The programme has just recently started and we are having so much fun. Please have a look at our first public performance in front of our peers at Te Whanau Awhina karakia. Nga mihi nui!

In Kotuku class, we thoroughly enjoy having learning experiences outside the classroom. We have travelled around the Manukau region, to the far north and so on. These kind of experiences enrich the learning that is had in class. Mauri ora!

Nau mai, haere mai ki te akomanga o Kotuku. We have many things we would like to share with you. We are an amazing class with so many learning experiences that occur each and every day. Nga mihi nui!
